This is so awesome!! How would you say to make this dress in a simple way? Like what kind of barbie clothes would I need?

Thanks! I'm not sure exactly what would qualify as "simple," so here are some ideas.

First, if you sew, I threw together this tutorial: [link]
There are always patterns for Barbie clothes available.

Second, if you don't really sew, you can still use some of the stuff from the tutorial. One option would be to buy a pink Barbie dress and decorate it. I would suggest these steps:

1. Buy a plain pink barbie dress. Easier said than done these days. It should at least have a pink bodice. If it has sleeves, cut them off. If it has a long skirt, cut it to the length you want. If you really can't sew, you can use hot glue to prevent fraying on the edges.

2. Get pink and blue sparkly tulle. Cut rectangles the same length as the skirt and gather them along the top. Gathering tulle is REALLY easy. Sew or glue the tulle layers on top of the skirt.

3. Find some seed beads, blue trim, and tiny plastic stars and decorate the dress. You can hand sew or glue. For example, [link] , [link] , and [link] .

4. Buy Barbie boots and crown, paint them silver, and decorate.

Very nice!

How did you make her crown? And which Barbie is this?

Thanks! The Belle Barbie I bought already came with a small golden crown. I painted it metallic silver and and glued jewel stars and a moon on top of it. Much easier than making the whole crown from scratch!

I see you got your other question answered, but I will add, there are currently two styles of "Sparkling Princess" dolls on the market, although I think the one I used is the older one and now out of production? They are very similar, but the most current doll has a larger, bulkier crown and, imo, a less attractive hairstyle. I recommend the older one.

That was probably more than you wanted to know!

Thank you.

The collection is a bit larger than the photos show. Some are completely hidden by dolls in the front of some pix, and others I didn't even take pictures of (because, after all, I'm most into "The Phantom of the Opera" right now.)

Let's see: there are all the Superman dolls, several more "Forever Knight" figures, Star Trek (3), Indiana Jones (1), "Timeline" (1), "Lord of the Rings" (1), "Dark Shadows" (the original version) (1), and about a dozen boxed Barbie sets.

Not to mention all the poor naked dolls whose clothing I've stolen to properly outfit my display characters. (At least they're not on display. )

And those are just the BARBIE-sized dolls.

Pretty cool. Naked dolls are a necessary casualty, heh.

Oh MAN do I have the naked dolls! I throw a lot of them away, but sometimes I just can't bring myself to get rid of certain ones. I don't know why, as I'll undoubtedly never use them, but still they collect in a drawer that is FULL. (And some are just heads 'cause I only needed the bodies. )

I suppose you could always try to sell them on eBay as OOAK parts. It seems like a lot of people do that.

Ah, the problem with that is I don't (and won't) do PayPal. I read too many horror stories about people (sellers) getting their accounts frozen by PayPal and not being able to contact anyone at the company to find out why or to correct errors. It was the same with eBay at the time, too. I don't remember if it was before or after they bought PayPal, and things could be different now, but I'm not willing to take that chance.

Not to mention, the last time I looked into it (several years ago, admittedly), eBay required sellers to give them their bank account number. Nope, no way. It probably wouldn't be a problem, but I'm paranoid when it comes to companies (or crooked employees) being able to access my money.

Yeah, I'd probably be one of those who stuffed their money under their mattress rather than use those newfangled banks.

Actually, I've had issues with them too, so I don't blame you!
