art is to be shared with the masses, it shouldn't be about "smart business decisions". If people want to support your artwork they will, regardless of the no-watermark incentive.
What about the incentive of sharing my hard earned cash with a fellow artist who poured their soul into their work, because I understand they do this for the love of art not money and they deserve something back for my appreciation of some nice print hanging on my wall, that is incentive enough! a watermark is almost counter productive as a sales pitch, cuz as cool as your art is, i think you're a slight bit of a dickhead due to that ignorable but ever so fucking annoying watermark, which you admit was just a way to get money off people.
Also if you don't own the rights, then it should be discussed with said company before you even post this, a watermark won't cover your ass, it barely covers anything here, but just enough for me to get outraged.. see -->
It's a shithouse photo anyway, like you said, nobody could make high res prints from this image so your argument is mute, as I think I should be now, least this gets any more ranty.

First of all smarty McShitFuck, before anything else I am an euntreprenuer, If you're good at something never do it for free. and i'll be the first one to admit that my shit is complete bullshit. it's just a bunch of freehand doodles mixed together to form artistic vomit.
Second, the love of art does not pay my bills, you jackass. If i pour my "soul" into a piece of work, you better believe that it's gonna be exclussive and not shared to the masses.(the masses can go fuck itself, mainstream whores) And stop telling me what art should and shouldn't be, I'll build my own individual concept of what art should be, and then i'll exploit it... and you're talking about sharing your hard earned cash with artists, well then buy their art, instead of of ripping it of the web. why don't you find something worthwhile to be outragged about, like the genocide that happens on a daily basis in Gaza, or the global financial crisis, or the little children who make all the worthless products that you buy at walmart, or the ongoing slave trade, or the fact that the u.s. gave the most favored nation award to china, etc.

yea hi-res prints (giclee) are pricey, and until i make enough capitol to invest in giclee, you little worthless spectator are left with a crappy digital photo.
