soon to be colored. this is less of the funny inspector gadget, and more a very serious cyborg crime fighting machine-more machine than man. the helicopter portion is emerging from his hat and some of the propeller blades are portions of his hat and his back. his sleeves pull back to reveal weaponry and his telescoping arms. his eyes see in various different spectrums. built for business.Related content

This is Inspector Gadget created by Vertigo Comics and it provokes a more darker and serious form...even becoming a thriller! I'm curious to see what even Brain and Penny look like in this version. They might be cyborgs as well...you may never know.

The drawing is not finished, he is supposed to be surrounded by KLAW agents. If I ever finish the drawing that is how it would be.

Just to clarify, I meant Gadget himself delivering a deadpan "What." It's the way he's holding his arms (plus my weird instincts). In any case, great picture... Gadgetcopter included.

you were before me! those two links look really cool, the mirror one looks like it would make a pretty sweet cover! and to answer your question, i am not a professional, i have done some work that has been published, but all independent. i still like to draw, but i am about to start school at the college of biblical studies in houston, and then onto seminary, and hopefullly not to long after that i can get a pastorate position. i would still love to do comics as well, but my priorities have changed more than a little in the past two years.

ive thought about it, was thinking of doing some doctrinal/bible story type things, and then maybe even do some stories where the characters show the conflicts that exist between believers and the world/old sin nature/and satan (the believers three enemies)by their actions and how they handle them-these characters would probably end up being superheroes, just because that is what i feel most comfortable with.

I was thinking of doing something just like that, except that I was going to start with the supers; and then, when the audience gets accustomed to the themes, I'll get into deeper examination of the Word and its teachings (This is mainly because these stories will be focused towards non-believers... Somewhat like subliminal messages... hehe I'm praying to get the best possible ideas.)

i thought about doing it that way at first, but then i looked at how well subtlety caught on with ancient israel, and i nixed that idea-they didnt get all of the pictures of Christ in the sacrifices, never trusted the Lord, so i decided that i would just have a running commentary with a scripture index for each section of the comic.

I grew up watching Inspector Gadget on TV, and I had never once thought that he could have looked as BAADASSSSS! as you made him look here. Amazing!
