Pinkie's already lives her dream: Ponyville's resident party planner.

My submission for NATG IX: Day 5! Today's prompt was "Draw a pony snatching victory from the jaws of defeat / Draw a pony following their hopes and dreams." Like many, I think a first thought was likely UNDERTALE, as was mine. Though I couldn't really think of anything good to draw making it super relavent to the prompt. Aditionally I was feeling lacking in inspiration in terms of a vanilla interpretation of the prompt. I could draw a ponified character, like Asriel in his final form at the end of the game, since that's when the song "Hopes and Dreams" played; but I'm never sure how I feel about drawing ponified versions of some characters. I can enjoy seeing them, but I dunno I don't often feeling like drawing them. I do, however, quite like the idea of MLP characters being inserted into the same universe, or pairing which MLP character would be which character. And so I decided to go with DELTARUNE instead and here the idea is, obviously, that Pinkie is Lancer, and Dashie would be Susie, naturally, though less obviously since I didn't bother, say, putting Dash in Susie's clothes or something, which that kind of thing can also be quite fun, but I didn't feel like putting in the effort to draw that, haha And the other characters aren't there because I didn't want to draw 2 other ponies Though Dashie could also potentially be Kris, just because blue, but that doesn't really fit as well personality-wise.

And yeah, went for a pixel art style this time! To be more inline with DELTRARUNE's look and 'cause I love pixel art. And decided to add shading too, because, I dunno, I always love the look of detailed and shaded pixel art. How I framed the picture meant I didn't get to draw the top of the tree, unfortunately, as that would've been fun to draw given their unique look. But I was already about finished and I didn't feel like reframing the picture just to include the rest of the tree, haha. Also might've pulled away focus, though it also would've helped open up the space of the picture so it isn't so cramped, but ah well, I say it's just time to submit.
