Very interesting that form in the sky. I do like all the composition, including the first plane of the terrain. The apparently simple land gives more force to the sky. Excellent tone care and contrast. Maybe some of the best work i've seen around here.

Oh don't get me wrong! I thought your work was top-class. It seemed like mystery was flowing in the sky and some four-eyed six-legged creatures might jump from the hoop of clouds.
I was just totally curious about the grass on the ground, because not knowing what it was (oops) just increased the intrigue. Thanks for clearing that up.

So beautiful - there's just a black , pulling void in the sky, as if completely seperate from the rest of the clouds. Amazing, and the clouds have such dimensionality!
The composition is a tad uncanny, however. I assume the sky is what one is meant to be looking at, and the high-contrast, frontal landscape distracts from it somewhat. If I were you, I'd shorten the front a bit and leave only the mountains in the back along with that gorgeous sky.
