that's my friend's canon. yes he is modified it, actually he modified not by himself, but he let the professional did it
it cost about 250USD to remove the hot mirror... and his camera only can produce an IR shot
maybe you already know that if we remove the hot mirror, the shutter speed is just like a normal shot, around 1/30sec or 1/60sec on F8 its the same situation like 6second on F8....
