Description

According to the "Song of the Nibelungs" (Nibelungenlied) Siegfried and Gunter had to travel to iceland in order to win Brunhild as Gunter's wife. She resided there as the virgin Queen of Isenstein. She said, that she would only follow a man, if he is able to defeat her in three competitions.

Well they knew, that Gunter won't be able to compete with her. So they cheated. Siegfried, hidden by a cloak of invisibility, helped Gunther in the competitions.

In this image Brunhild welcomes Gunther and Siegfried at Isenstein.

I very much liike this!

And the throne makes my eyes greedy.

My one crit, if you want crits, is that both the side women seem to be wearing spandex tights; the cloth is too smooth and skin-hugging for the medival fabrics I know of. But I know that's nitpicking, and this picture otherwise ROCKS.

Thank you for your nice comment ... and yeah, crits are very welcome, because they me increasing my abilities.

For the "spandex":

You're very right. But hey, it's fantasy ... other fantasy girls wear high heels and chainmail bikinis.

Those chainmail bikinis-- depending on the weather, metal armor against skin is either sun-hot or winter/morning cold. Yeeeeouch!

Y'know, I think there should be a kind of bright-colored seaweed which becomes a useful stretchy fiber when dried. Their adult length is normally about a galleon's width wide, which is why they're called span-decks.

Thank you!

Most of the props in this image are from DM ... with some re-working on the textures done by me. So I did on the sword and on the spears.

And yeah ... I like this sword, too.
