I felt like drawing OFF, so I sketched a Critic-Burnt.I have so many theories about OFF. Seriously, all of the theories. In my opinion OFF is all about metaphors, and so I think it's reasonable to assume that the burnt might just be a physical manifestation of something much more abstract. We can all agree that the Elsen suffer a great deal of mental health problems, right? I was thinking that perhaps, the Critic-Burnt's big head is a symbol of all the thoughts and worries and fears that he carries. People with mental problems (and anyone else, really) might feel as if they are trapped within their thoughts, and likewise, people who spend a lot of time thinking might end up with mental problems like depression or anxiety.
It could also be that his head is a physical manifestation of all the things that his neurosis prevents him from saying or doing. If you think about it, Elsen don't show much personality at all, so maybe the Critic-Burnt feels as though his whole personality is trapped inside himself, and he doesn't know how to express it? Ugh, I don't know, this is all just a bunch of what-ifs and maybes.

Critic Burnts most likely represent withdrawal, as critic-burnts are burnts deprived of sugar, while Pastels are different in it represents overdosage.
