My newest Mjolnir, made after I lost my first one in the ocean Those are REAL bear claws from a black bear. Thank you to my friend (you know who you are!) for supplying them to me! I should mention that those claws were taken from a bear that was killed from about 10m away...with a bow. How's that for manly?
The addition of these bear claws have more than a aesthetic purpose, they also represent a blend of Finnish paganism to the Norse pagan traditions, as the Finns saw the bear as a very holy animal (with very good reasons, bears are uncanily human like in many ways).
Anyways, I am proud to wear the claws on my new Mjolnir!
