Does anyone even remember or know that these guys exist?

I used to watch the SMW cartoon (and the other Mario cartoons) a lot back then and out of its episodes, “Born to Ride” is like the most memorable to me (besides of course Mama Luigi). I guess seeing Yoshi being part of a gang was like the coolest sh*t ever and I also thought the Dino Riders are pretty neat.

I wanted to give my take on their designs by making them look more “modern”/closer to the games (at least two of the members here are confirmed to be Rexes). I also tried getting rid of the forced “caveman talk” that the cartoon had Yoshi and some other characters doing since, ya know, they don’t even do that in the original game lol

Really like how this turned out and hopefully I would draw these guys again in the future! If you ask me what non-game Mario characters that I would like to see exist in the games, it would probably be the Dino Riders.
