Fun fact: I've never played SMRPG (at least not fully since I remembered back then when I was kid, I've played it for a bit but never went any further past the first level), but I've been meaning to play it someday. Unfortunately, my mind be elsewhere. The gameplay looks fun and I really like the story and the characters (it's too bad that they're owned by Square Enix though. Would've been cool to see the SMRPG characters in some other Mario spinoff games like Mario Kart).

Now, its been a while since I remembered much about the characters, but I remembered finding Geno and Mallow to be fun and cool characters that I want to see again in other Mario games. However, I never understood how Geno was able to warrant so many Smash supporters who want or even expect him to be the next newcomer. I'm not against it as I don't mind if he's playable in Smash or not (Would be pretty cool, honestly), but I thought its pretty crazy how this is almost all Geno is known for. With all of the heated arguments between Geno fans and Anti-Geno fans, I'm not even surprised at how things went once the news revealed that Geno is a Mii costume yet again (and a downgraded one at that compared to Sans and Cuphead lol).

Overall, I think Geno is a pretty cool character whose relevancy is basically being rather he will be a Smash newcomer or not while Mallow is pretty much overshadowed and forgotten by most people (especially by Smash fans).
