Happy anniversary to my one of all-time favorite games! When I've first seen TTYD on some commercials and/or gaming magazines as a kid, I've been wanting to get hands on it because it just looks so cool! That was around the time when I thought TTYD was just some stand alone Mario game, I didn't even know about PM64's existent until my older bro bought it. Also, who was your favorite partner(s)? My favorites have to probably be Vivian, Koops, and Bobbery since they were really useful to me back then.

As much as I loved PM64, I prefer TTYD not just because it was the first PM game i've played, but also because I like its story and characters more. I also like how the game was able to have a dark and serious tone without going full edgy or melodramatic. While I don't think the Mario series should have a very deep/serious plot or anything, I don't mind when the story have its moments of stakes and dark undertones. I'd be all over that as long as it doesn't go too far with it. So yeah, like the original Paper Mario game, this one was also phenomenal with its interesting plot, charming cast of characters, and really fun gameplay! Even though I've moved on from this series after Sticker Star, TTYD will always have a special place in my heart!
