Edit: I worked with the lighting and contrast a bit more. I didn't want to make it too extreme because I was rather fond of the soft look the original version had.

This started off as a "I dont know wtf I'm doing" kind of speedpaint and evolved into something else as I started to put more care and effort into what I was doing. Overall I'm pleased with it, and trying out a new style of working was a good way to flex my art muscles.

Ahhh this is lovely! Her hair has such a nice movement to it, and look at that omg tiny fussy delicate chain. The only thing I'd critique is that with such a strong lightsource (sunset) there should be just a little more contrast on the figure.

I was thinking about that too, after I added the background. Originally I wasn't planning to add one but after looking through stock, the colors on the one I picked had all the right ones so I could't t help myself. xD;; I may go back and darken up some spots later on, though, to make it fit better.
