By every sense of the word, this out-beats almost everything classic-monster-movie related thing in the last couple decades. Yes, even Hotel Transylvania. Why? You didn't rely on separate monsters to create unique appearances. Every face-shape, eye shape, clothing choice, even ears have been swapped for every character. You also didn't rely on changing to every color imaginable to separate them as only one is any different.

Panda, (Umb)Rythian, Not so sure about Akantha- probably Ridge, Sips, Minty, And Rad has some Nilesy aspect.
Aside that there's much that gives them a lot of character, just by glancing at them... their postures, It gives people some rough idea of personality. This is what makes strong characters so visually pleasing and you've really captured that with shape colour and stance!
