Summary:
An almost clone of his mother, Rough has a hard time showing emotions....at all. No anger, no sadness, etc. Not to say he doesn't have them, he for sure has emotions. He just doesn't know how to show them without ridicule from his mother. His dad died shortly after the birth of his littlest sister, Boulder Opal. So all he has are the great memories with his pa, not as many with his mother. His dad never made fun of him for having emotions. His mother doesn't mean to, she's just not used to it herself at all. Igneous left a long line of emotional issues for the family.
