Uh baby, this looks utterly amazing. Love all the effects going on. Only critique I can offer is that it might add a little more realism to have the water splash a little against her boots. Water is always tricky though. Amazing work!

I'm especially amazed how close to a human person this character looks! In general (this is my usual motto, I guess ) 3D characters often look... empty, soul-less. But this one really has something in her glance. Congratulations.
I'll just make a note about how Lara is placed in the water environment. IHMO there should be some (even very small) turbulences if the stream is flowing from Lara's back. It'd make the picture perfect.

Thank you very much for the comment and critique! I have been thinking about doing a update to this render and potentially adding a waterfall to the background, which would add the turbulence you speak of...this took hours to render so will have to wait until I get a shiny new next gen MBP hehe

You're most welcome . About turbulences I was in fact referring to those that would result from Lara's feet. Now a waterfall would certainly add more dynamism, for sure. I'm looking forward to this next render

Would you care to elaborate? I can only think you're referring to the caustics from the water or the shadow cast from the trees behind the camera...

Sadly I don't have control over water caustics, but thank you for the feedback!

It was not meant to be discouraging. I just started to LUX render myself. I probably would I have dealt with it with some PS postwork still a very nice render.
