I actually don't know what to title this, so that'll do for now. :'D;;;

More prep for my Commercial Animation program's gradshow.

Here I have Mikhailis in his baphomet-based beast form battling it out with a volcanic lava dragon. There was no initial story behind the piece other than that I hadn't drawn a vicious picture of Mikhailis in a long time. Not since this piece, anyways:

That piece was my best piece at the time, but two years have passed and I needed a brand new "best" piece. Or at least I needed to create another new piece I could be proud of. I spent a while researching lava again and looking at how other artists approached getting lava effects on their work. In the end, I just experimented around until I got the lava scales on the dragon the way I wanted them to look. :> Very pleased with how they turned out.
