I'm not very familiar with acrylics. I used oil paints for this. This was a learning process...*sweatdrops*

ahem....it's actually oil paints. This was one of my first paintings....

Oooh! Oil paints! 'tis crazy! *.* I've never used oil paints...sounds hard...

Though to me acrylics are hard, too...

Is it as fun as watercolours?

For me, they are fun, but you gotta learn how to use them...otherwise, the're sorta like an acquired taste. What I love about them is that if you make a mistake, you can just paint over it and it's no big deal.

That is why I want to use them so bad 'cause I'm constantly making mistakes! XD Acrylics dry too fast...Also why I like watercolour...except sometimes it dries faster then you think...'orz

haha, I know what you mean...though sometimes oils take TOO long to dry....and mistakes on watercolors can be fatal...

If you're clumsy, like me, oils can get messy...watercolors sorta dry fast, but it's easy to mess up any picture in any medium....right?

Ha, I'm probably as clumsy as you...XD Yeah...except maybe pencil...but if you have a bad eraser then you can definitely.
