Of those we've lost. Of those we've loved.If there's one thing I've learned, it's always tell your loved ones exactly that. Just two or three little words when you say goodbye. Because you never know when that'll be the last time you ever see or speak to them.
I don't really do this kind of thing often...but recent events and all.
I'm not afraid of death. I know I'll die. What I'm scared of is losing everything. All my ideas, all my stories and all the little worlds I've got in my head. Just knowing that when I don't breathe anymore, neither will they.

As for dying, I have some fear of it. I mean that's a pretty big thing to think about. But I also have to remember it's the only way to go 'home.' As for the fear of loosing myself and all my thoughts and ideas... I honestly don't think I would. They would change if anything. The kinds of thoughts that you mentioned I believe are a thing of this world. When I leave this place they will no longer matter. Nothing about this world will matter. Only one thing will matter to me... and that is spending the rest of eternity with the one who was called me His own.

Isn't that just what people always say? "I didn't get a chance to tell them I loved them. I said 'see you later'." etc.
On Easter Sunday, we found out the six of our Canadian soldiers were killed that day. Shortly after, on Wednesday, four more. I found out on Thursday that one of the soldiers killed on Easter had been a friend of mine in high school. He'd been in my friend's regiment before they were shipped out. *sighs*

Aww that's beautiful, Zen. I know what you mean by losing all your ideas and such. I fear not learning all of what I want to learn about. There are a lot of things I want to know. It seems we have such little time to do it. I dunno...
