This is actually one of my fav pieces in your gallery. Your color use is spot on for the title since orange and yellow provides a sense of optimism,joy and warmth. also bringing in a cool color(blue) was great since it nicely complements with the other colors. If the arm that's holding the flower was bent a little, would have been much more natural but 'tis a minor thing. Well done!

Thank you very much ! You are very right about the arm: I am still a beginner when it comes to anatomy, and limb angles are one of the many things I still struggle with XD I will definitely try hard to get better ! Thank you for the constructive feedback

You're welcome mate! I'm also constantly learning more about anatomy. Here are some books that I found immensely useful.

'Human Anatomy for Artists by Eliot' Goldfinger
'Figure Drawing for all its worth' by Andrew Loomis

Try using photographs to your advantage. Instead of using them as direct references, use a ruler and take measurements and try to understand the anatomy. It'll help you a lot when you're drawing imaginary characters. Doing some referenced studies is also great for practice.

Thank you for the advice! The ruler on photos is really a good idea! ^^ I never thought of it XD I'll see if I can get my hands on those books for a reasonable price, english books shipping is so costly since I am in France
