We started a fire;
that was never supposed to burn out.
You started a band;
that cool for awhile but it turned pretty bland.
Speakers pounded music into your skull. You were at a bar- you couldn't remember the name- and DAMN, you were drunk. You can barely recall coming here in the first place. Who'd you come with again? Sollux, Dave, Equius... Someone else. Maybe it was the guy you were dancing with. You looked up at the mystery man's face. Yep. It was Sollux, Dave, Equius, and that hunk Eridan. You secretly had a tiny crush on him. You mean, he could be super sweet and kind, but also totally badass!
"(Name)! WWe havve to go!" The said badass whispered to you, glancing at Strider, who was standing on a table. "Wwe're about to be kicked out!"
You nodded drunkenly and held onto his scarf. "Righto! Lead the way, Mr. Scarf!"
Eridan sighed and led you out of the pub. Somehow, along the way, Equius, Sollux, and Dave managed to latch onto either you or Mr. Scarf. Soon, Eridan was driving Equius and Sollux home. You, Dave, and the wearer of Mr. Scarf shared an apartment. As soon as you got through the door, you hugged Eridan tightly. "Hey, Mr. Scarf? I gotta tell you something," you murmured, twirling the accessory around your arm. "I. Like. Eridan. But don't tell 'im! He prolly doesn't like me back."
Eridan's voice caught. "N-no! (Name)! I like y-"
"(NAME)! COME CUDDLE WITH THE COOLEST DUDE HERE!" Dave yelled from across the apartment.
"OKAY!" You took off happily towards Dave's room, where you did indeed snuggle up with the cool kid himself. Eridan was left standing there with a lost look on his face. Once again his lovely (Name) had been stolen by Dave Strider.
