I chuckled a bit when I saw Zuko's expression and Uncle just standing there, looking all happy and serene. Really, it speaks so much without having to read your comments. This picture expresses them that perfectly. I also love the coloring; it's really pretty.

There's this strangeness to Zuko's right hand, particularly how the wrist area seems to just meld with the arm.
Minor nitpick aside, apart from the general zomgawesome, this certainly seems quite different from your usual stuff for some reason. It's almost like a breath of fresh, clorophyll-filled air. xD

Yeah, it used to be worse XD. He had no wrists at all! They got lost somewhere as I reworked his hands and I had to fix it as best I could (as you know, redrawing something = too much work >_>
I guess taking a 5-month hiatus from drawing has had some kind of effect. O_o

This is fantastic - I rarely see BBS images like this with such a soft and peaceful painting style. I love how well you conveyed the setting and their personalities - I could tell right away what was going on before reading the description, but that might be because I'm already an Avatar fan, haha.
I already thought the background you did for this was beautiful and was going to comment on it, but I'll do so here instead. Earth Kingdom clothing has always blended in well with the rich tones of earth and vegetation, but I couldn't help but notice how well you conveyed that. You used all the right tones and shades, it really does look great.
It sort of reminds me of my old home in California - there were places like that with steep embankments looking over forests thick with morning mist. I suppose how you painted this just really brings me into the image.
