Leaves crunched below two pairs of shoes as Zuko wandered through the woods with his Uncle Iron trailing behind him. Normally Zuko didn't so much as care that Iroh was taking his sweet time admiring the trees of foreign lands and possibly getting some sort of rash from an unknown plant that he found and brewed in a tea. The firebender rolled his eyes at the thought of tea, sometimes he wondered if the absurd drink would get the two into trouble. Huffing with agitation he exclaimed,
"Would you hurry up?! We still have at least a day to get to the port to get to Ba Sing Se."
"Now now Prince Zuko. No need to rush on and let everything pass us by." Iroh said with a serene tone to his voice.
He noted that after Azula attacked Iroh that he wanted to learn lightning bending and ultimately failed to conjure a hint of electrical energy. Iroh had taught his young nephew how to redirect it from him and Zuko ran off in the rain hoping to have a chance to demonstrate what he'd learned. After swallowing his pride and coming back to the camp they decided to make their way to the Earth kingdom Capital.
Zuko glared at the road ahead and continued to March forward towards the end of the trail. He looked back to see his Uncle staring out to the woods and scowled muttering under his breath that they can't waste any time to get to the port and depart.
Excepting fate was not on his side and that he won't capture the wayward airbender. He resigned himself to a reluctant new start he didn't want to begin.

This is absolutely gorgeous. The characters are true to well, character for lack of a better word, the background is wonderful, the colors are just lovely....I love everything about this.

That said, I also love the background work. Grassy rocks in particular are a beeyatch for me and so I tend to ooh and aah whenever I see it done well. Faved!
