pen, pencil and tablet...the tablet sketches (*glance* and '___...') were from an ongoing comic strip between Dra and Ada. hee :>I drew most of these last year (luckily I marked the date for some of them...) - my style keeps varying...Putting these together, I see over time how I've improved on this particular character...the result is that he looks so different in every sketch, which is something I feel ashamed and embarrassed about....
I guess that just means I still have a long way to go...
I know they aren't that great, but I enjoy drawing him - he has very distinct facial features. His eyes are fun, even though I fail at it most of the time x'D
I'm uploading this because I think I might be more active again. I have so much to do - so much.

Sketches are always nice to watch! Sergei isn't any easy character to draw! I made my thesis painting of Dragunov and thus I needed to learn to draw him. At the beginning I felt for such a long time that whenever I started to draw Sergei he ended up looking like a transvestite xD I haven't draw Sergei for a long time and I think I have forgot how to do that

Yes, he's different to many characters - it's more interesting. Ha ha, really? It must have been fun going through the learning process for your painting of him at the time. Oh, I've felt the exact same way! He's not easy to draw...Too many times I felt like I was drawing lipstick and eyeshadow on him, but when I tried to reduce shading those parts, it still didn't look like Dragunov /x'D...

Now that you mentioned, it does look like ~Kota-Stoker 's style! Like a mixture of these two artists' styles! Very interesting. I wish Namco would give an option of loose hair for Dragunov in Tekken 7 (or in TT2)... I tried to make loose hair for him with Tekken 6's hair options but he ended up looking like transvestite Tatjana :'D
I haven't drawn Dragunov in a while, since drawing him requires lots of time (at least I feel like it!) but as soon as I get an idea I'll draw something :3

aww thanks a lot! Lol I never thought about that...But I would think there would be that option (his hair is tied up, but not normally down??) I haven't explored all the options though. I just like him in aristocracy or battlesuit
My friend likes dressing him up in sweatpants, topless, with balaclava...ugh. (He thinks he looks like John Cena, wtf..) I don't like any of his char's customizations, cos he makes them look so stupid. I told him not to change my Dragunov, but he did anyway, and I had such a hard time trying to figure out how to equip and unequip stuff e__e lmao. I still haven't scolded him for it yet..hmmm
All updates on TT2, I just see Jin, Jin, Kazuya, Jin, Devil Jin...etc.. bah...I hate Jin : (

Dragunov has some ready-made hair style options in Tekken 6, like the "Officer" hairstyle with a bang that looks like Nazi officer's hair from 1940's :'D Pinicito made actually a pic of the Formal hairstyle Dragunov has. It's similar to Officer hairstyle, except without the bang: [link]
