Nice start. Too me this would be a perfect wallpaper to use in conjunction with a modular shell extension and/or skin suite. But buy itself on the desktop with a few icons, it leaves a lot to be desired. I also think the design would look much better if the lines went behind the circle graphic.

Nice shading, slik design, although I think it'll look better when the two grey strips are one colour (no fading). Maybe add some other colours to the logo...
