First off, I love the whimsy and color of the character, the candy theme, the tongue sticking out, and the happy-go-lucky face on the character. As for anatomy improvements, there are a few things. You could move the shoulders back a little bit, right now it kind of looks like they are jutting forward too much. Try making the toes a little bit smaller, too, like putting the curved arch that makes the top of the toe a little bit lower.

As for coloring, try starting out with a slightly lighter color first and lightly putting down a layer, not pressing too hard on the paper. Then, go over that with the darker color and keep pressing lightly, making multiple layers. This will help decrease the amount of white paper showing through.
