I did a new version of this. You can find it here: silentillusion.deviantart.com/…A character design sheet I did to put into my portfolio, because Nota is a fun character to draw and her appearance is very particular.
The guy reviewing my stuff loved this and said it was great that I could make characters with such personalities and stories etc. .. but I felt stupid when he insisted that I told him about the character, because I think I must sound crazy when I describe someone like Nota to a person. But uhhh stuff like that is what they like.
I didn't put this in the usual category because it's more of a reference-type image than an actual art piece.
Markers, and some photoshopping in the bg, but predominantly traditional media here.

I love this. 8D There are small details that work to bring out her character, like how the curls at the end of her ears are jagged. And just the fact that it's apparent she doesn't wash that dress.... it's awesome.
