Taking a break from everything that I have to be getting done at a moment - and everyone knows that when I take a break from what I have to get done, I draw dragons. Hence, a dragon.

This particular dragon is actually from a story that I had started writing when I was about ten years old, and was actually a precursor story to the story that most of the art in my gallery is from. It had the same title and a few of the same characters (namely Sky and Morte(pale), although they were both dragons in this story).

Anyhoo, this dragon was one from a.. group.. of mutated dragons called the "unborn", and I always sort of liked them, since they're all radioactive and melty and fun to draw. They don't have eyes in the normal spots, but rather, lots of little eyes that sprout up in various spots on their bodies. : d Their tails and legs, although you can't see either of them here, are stubby and short, and their feet are sort of elephantish, rather than reptilian.

Aaand I'm talking too much. This took exactly one hour, Painter 8, using only the 2B pencil tool and the eraser, and this is 100% of the size I was working at. And no, I won't be coloring it, so don't ask. : p
