Character sheet for ~Nu-Hybrid , an organization based in the =org-nu universe, which parallels that of the Kingdom Hearts games, only where the worlds are instead non-Disney animated films (as well as a few select video games and muppet-based films).

Bio:
A memory program within the Matrix, Mr. Caedom's duties included hacking, downloading, erasing, and rewriting memories of certain hardwired humans, i.e. bluepills, when it was deemed necessary. But after a particular incident that left his own memory faulty, Mr. Caedom went into exile to escape deletion, and thus turned to the Merovingian, who extorted his talents in exchange for protection.

His long-term memories were left intact, but since the incident Mr. Caedom has been unable to create new memories, his mind relapsing on an hourly basis. (Though, occasionally, a random memory might flash back to him as a moment of déjà vu.) However, he manages to function through a system of handwritten notes, photographs, and voice recordings, as well as messages personally tattooed on his body. Being handwritten, these tattoos run upside-down along his arms and chest, but are rarely ever seen by anyone else, since he wears suits. The only tattoo that is openly visible is on his left hand, to remind himself to refer to these tattoos, reading "read the tattoos". (Yes, I got this idea from Momento, which is an awesome movie, by the way.)

Mr. Caedom is familiar with underworld methodology, already attaining data on how the Merovingian's operations work. So when a strange, one-eyed woman with copper-colored hair proposed freedom from the Merovingian, the Matrix, and even the Machines, should he choose to work for her organization, he seized the opportunity. It was a chance to move up and escape the System that always loomed overhead. So he followed Oigthierma through the looking-glass, or rather window (see [link] for clarification).

But even this newfound freedom came with its price. In the worlds of the Hybrid universe, he is now a man of flesh and blood, possessing none of his program abilities, but retaining his anterograde amnesic-like condition. Living like a human within the virtual world of the Matrix, Mr. Caedom is accustomed to the needs and functions of a human body, so the conversion from program to human was not difficult by any means. Now, however, he is susceptible to disease and aging.

What significantly puts him apart from others is his often emotional detachment and mechanical thinking, which comes off as coldness, though this is unintentional. Sometimes he quietly watches, writing down observations of mannerisms and interactions of people. Occasionally he'll attempt to mimic expressions and habits, though usually at inappropriate times. Regardless, he genuinely desires to fit in, though Mr. Caedom is hindered by his constant paranoia, due to his condition. He always has to question his relations to others, since he cannot remember.

As mentioned before, Mr. Caedom relies on a detailed system to keep track of what he cannot remember. Aside from the tattoos, instant camera, audio recorder, and notes, he also keeps a pocket watch to keep track of the time before his memory relapses. (This way, he can prepare a message to his "future self" of the current situation.) A journal and planner with calendar are also vital for keeping track of dates and planning a schedule, among other things. Even Mr. Caedom's coat is designed with his condition in mind, tailored with multiple inside pockets, many of which are stitched with labels.
