So... I'm doing ZeLink week... Today's Prompt is; Awakening.It’s a bit late... but I didn't intend to put this much time into it. 
Anyway. The idea here is; Link was thinking about ‘Zelda’s awakening’ memory. (shortly after recalling it) He just came into awareness that he did, in fact, fail her and that she saved him and had to go through so much, for HIM. All these feelings overtake Link and he breaks down. And yeah... you get the rest.
I’m pretty sure this story fits the Prompt. His true thoughts and feelings have awakened after 100 years. (or you can interpret this scenario as Link finding out he loved Zelda all those years ago and even now.)

Oh my goodness this is so sweet. After playing the game, you can just really feel the emotion in this. I love the glowyness and the background you used, it really adds to the effect. Poor Link ;-;

It's interesting how you have it set in similitude to how Link comforts Zelda when she "breaks down" in one of "Link's Memories" as they were fleeing from the castle. A flip around from Link comforting Zelda to Zelda comforting Link.
A very nice touch, beautiful work, and the concept is excellently portrayed!
