Description
-For the record, I didn't mean to make Tojo look so old. Those are smiley lines! I have them, and I am not old!!

This was drawn when I was thinking about Vitani being Taka and Nala's cub. I hadn't really thought about the story, but maybe she mated/got raped just before she left, then mated with Simba in the jungle - resulting in Kopa and/or Kiara.
But after more thinking, only after I'd finished it, I thought that it would have been more logical if Vitani was Tama's, Sarafina's, or another relitive of Nala/Sarafina that looks similar to them - the father being Taka.
And then I rethought who I thought Tojo's mother was. I used to think that it was Sarafina, but I remembered the dark lioness in 'the Orphaned Birds'. So, my new theory is that Nala and Tojo have the same father - who would have very similar looks to Sarafina, to make Nala look so much like her mother. That, added with the dark lioness, who looks amused at 'her son's' - as I'm saying he is - antics, would make the gold fur of Tojo.

Ok, so I drew this is August, and it has taken me to now to finish the digital. I was delayed by going away, school, homework, coursework, laziness and the want to do it well. But I was clearing through some files, and found this - and just wanted it done. So, that's the reason why the background - especially the grass - looks terrible.

I'm very proud of this, mostly because I used no references to how they looked. Ok, if I think really hard, I remember looking to make Vitani's eye more on-model, and the colours of the characters and rocks, but not for the poses or characters.
I love the shading, even though I should have blurred it at the edges, and most of that rock.

~ I swear I plan for these descriptions to be short. They just never are.
