I have been folowing the show for two years and i found you out last year, your art is always so inspiring! The shading makes this looks so real and alive, the background complements the theme and makes the focal point pop! i love this piece so much that it is my background but that part wasnt important, i noticed that the stars are placed not to light so that is makes the hair feel alive. The glows in nightmare moon's eyes give it that posessing feel to the theme ad the color scheme is beautiful! i really love your art silent!

I don't know much about MLP art but this is really beautiful. There is just the right amount of lighting and shading in just the right places. Luna's eyes are just stunning.
Her teeth kinda look too 'vampire' like to me, but it does add a really nice touch. This does't look still at all. You can really see the depth and emotion in this drawing, and looks full of texture.

Nightmare Moon: "You can't get rid of me, you can't control me, and you can't stop me! I will regain control over your body and mind. And that silly new close human friend of yours will try to kill us when we retake y-"
A tall and large human man pulls Nightmare Moon away, pins her down at the neck using his boot, and puts weight on Nightmare Moon.
"You don't know the power of love... Star Wars and Back To The Future references packed into one."
The man crushes Nightmare Moon's neck, and Luna wakes up with an arm around her neck. It's the human she fell in love with. He's asleep, and begins to pull himself closer to Luna.
Luna: "I love you."
"Love. You. To..."
Luna moves her head to put a kiss on the man's lips...

I really have no words for this picture. it makes you think of how nightmare moon still hunts Luna even after she was freed from her control. Nightmare herself looks as if she is laughing at Luna's suffering; which really isn't surprising considering her dark personality.
Luna, well you made her perfect. The shading in her hair in particular, it really gives the impression of the nights stary sky. But if you look past that, you can really see the struggle, the fight she is putting against her evil alter-ego, right in her eyes.
this is a beautiful piece of work, and I hope you can continue to do more amazing works such as this in the future.

Oof... This hit me right in the feels... And I have to say that as epic as the original looks, I think I like the emotions in this one better. Though I suppose you could also look at this piece as a progression of the first. In that one, Luna is strong enough to ignore the call of Nightmare Moon. Yet here, she's finally succumbing.
On a lighter note, will this also be sold at BronyCon? I'd love to get a print of this as well if so!

You're very welcome! Honestly, it reminded me of a story I wrote on FIMFiction (no big surprises in it), but mostly because it shows Luna's transformation into Nightmare Moon (the way it was in the show, hence no surprises XD).
