Another commission for Noir (non-DA) for his Pokémon fanfic, Earth and Sky ! Excerpt below

She didn’t know what made her do it; perhaps she was already so used to touching him after huddling on his back for so long, but the glee that came following his answer prompted her to draw him close and hug him, her arms circling around his neck. She could feel the flush of pink on her cheeks, but it was a pleasant feeling, a pleasant warmth that differed from the many times he had embarrassed her, the many times during that short span where he had humbled her.
“Thank you,” She said.
He remained in place, his bewildered expression making clear that he was obviously unprepared for her sudden bug, but he smiled and reciprocated with an arm around her back nonetheless. The adults behind the children also smiled warmly at their tender embrace, knowing that Cynthia had taken away a lot more from the incident—developed a lot more—in that short amount of time she spent with him.
A few moments passed before they finally parted from their embrace, as she gave him her sweetest smile, reciprocated by his own. As the engine of their private jet roared and livened their surrounding breeze, they knew it was time for them to part ways. She ran toward the jet and boarded it, but she did not stop there as she looked at the window, taking a final glance at Red as he too, waved his last goodbye to her.
“Goodbye!” Before the jet soared into the sky toward their home, she waved her hand and called out his name one last time through the window as she bade him farewell. “Goodbye, Red!”
A name she would forever remember in her heart, no matter how much time would pass…

Nice job with this pic. The overall design is fairly simple, yet effective and clean. The shading is very nicely done, with a sort of stylized look to it. The faded white frame around the whole picture helps add atmosphere to the entire thing, giving it a sort of dreamy or reminiscent feel to it, which does seem to match the title or the idea that you're going for.
Your anatomy is really good, with the embrace looking quite solid. Doesn't look just like two characters close to one another, but has a genuine look of them touching and interacting with one another, which can be quite difficult for people.
The only criticism I have is Cynthia's hand. It looks way to bent, as if it were folded 180 degrees, rather than just a regular angle. I think perhaps showing a part of the thumb may solve the look.
Other than that. This is great!

Cynthia's design has always been my favorite, and that's saying a lot because I absolutely LOVE every pokegirl design.
Overall, I think everything is drawn really well! The anatomy is good, and I really like the white blur (idk how to describe it LOL) around them -- it gives the entire piece a dreamy and happy feel! ^^
I think something that you can try is setting the lineart layer to multiply. That way, the black lines on the hair won't be as noticeable. Then again, I believe that's purely an art-style thing, so it's up to you

Hello, I found your awesome art of Red and Cynthia thanks to
I wanted to say that it's not a couple I usually imagine, as both those characters in different regions of the Pokemon world (I don't think they even meet in the manga, much less the game) and I usually pair Cynthia with Helio, but why not, I'm not close minded ^^
This said, about the picture itself as I said above, it's fantastically awesome and so adorable, especially Cynthia's face. Though, the downside of her cute face is that she looks much younger than the age she probably is. That and the fact Red is taller than her. I don't actually mind it, but Cynthia always appeared to me as a tall woman (in particular in the anime where she quite tower over Ash), maybe as tall as 6 feet tall, so if Red is one head taller than her, he's... 6'10''? Doable, but I never pictured him THAT tall. In my opinion (for what it's worth anyway), it'd have looked better if they were about the same size, Cynthia maybe a bit smaller, with her head resting on Red's shoulder instead than on his torso.
speaking of torso... actually, it's not related, except the location, there is a problem with Cynthia's arm. Or so it seems to be.Where is the elbow? Is it the first "bend"? Then I think the hand shouldn't be like this on Red's back (it looks broken to me like this). I believe (once again, I can be wrong) it'd have been better if Cynthia's arm have been under Red's. Speaking of which, without his cap, he looks a lot like Ash (in my opinion). And what is those stuff in his hand (if they are indeed in his hand). Did he take those... hairpin (?) from Cynthia? Why? And he doesn't really seem to be holding them, but they can't be on her hair like this, can they? Yet, it would make more sense for his hand's pose and location (shouldn't there be some shadow under his hand/on Cynthia's shirt by the way?) if he was holding them.
Those details aside, it looks great

As far as height goes, it's meant to be a portrayal of them as children, so they'd both be relatively shorter - and typically boys grow taller faster than girls, so I had him a good head taller than her. As far as the arm goes, maybe it's my linework...? I do draw with modeled pose references so I can say that that is in fact what the human arm looks like wrapped around someones back
And yes, the hairpin was a gift from her! She wears two on either side of her head, so the side that's turned away from us is the side that she's given to him

oh, my bad, I didn't see they were children, but it explains the younger look of Cynthia and why Red looks so much like Ash.
Can't be sure for the arm, maybe you're right, maybe it's due to the line being too straight, but rest assured, I trust you when you say what an arm wrapped around someone back looks like, ^^

This is a very beautiful drawing visually, something emotional. But there is something that I noticed recently and I say it now if I can in the girl ... It's Cynthia, the Sinnoh champion. Oh yeah. I like to discover things by myself. It's comforting
