just saying, a mummy pet would probably get boring after a while. I'd rather just have a timid little guy. At least those move around.

A mummy pet would be fun for having a pet that is completely helpless and watching them squirm and need your care. More like a little animal since they don't have hands or able to walk around and take care of themselves.

Still doesn't change you're tiny and can't move, so are always scared and unable to do anything by yourself. You must have a VERY nice owner to balance that. Not impossible though.

Yeah, I like placing them next to other small cute stuff and make it enormous and scary to them, gives the idea how tiny they are.

I admit the talking is an interesting idea, I like them being voiceless however since it makes them even more helpless and transforms them more into a tiny animal. Another sense that is taken away to make them weaker. Hearing them cry and beg is cute however.
