Description Sorry for taking so long on this, but I finally finished it!!! I drew this for my photorealism class at school (which I am trying to get my artwork done faster in! ) and I based it off the theatre poster the wonderful movie 'The Phantom of the Opera! Hehe...I also noticed that in this poster the Phantom's mask is on the wrong side! Usually it's on the left side but on the poster it was on the right! Done with prismacolour pencils!

I noticed that about the mask being on the wrong side too, I think they mirror imaged the photo for some of the posters, cos in others its the right way round.

You've caught the expressions perfectly, utterly beautiful. Gotta love the phantom, I'm listening to the Sarah Brightman theme song right now.

In one poster, they photoshopped the phantom's mask and put it on the correct side, but in my opinion, I like the original poster with the mask on the wrong side better! ^__^

I love the musical and the movie of 'Phantom of the Opera', and Sarah Brightman is one of my all-time favorite singers! I went to one of her amazing concerts one time and she actually sang a few songs from 'Phantom'!

Wowzes! I've seen phantom in the theatre once, was a christmas present a few years ago. It was absolutely amazing! Twasnt the Sarah Brightman version though, she is an amazing singer, I would have loved to see her play the part. At first I wasn't as keen on the movie version of christine, but after a few viewings I've grown to like her voice.

Thanks so much!! I know, that mask thing is so funny! I noticed that right when I finished the picture! On the new DVD cover for 'The Phantom of the Opera', they have this picture, but CHANGED his mask to be on the other side!

Thanks a lot!!! I adore 'The Phantom of the Opera', too!!! It's such a great movie! My technique for Prismacolours is to press down on them REALLY hard and use the lighter colours first and go over them with the darker pencils!
