A common misconception in exploring various media is that if you keep saying something is going to be bad, it means you WANT it to be bad. Not true. You can think something's going to be a steaming pile and hope you end up being wrong.

A prime example recently is Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. My dear friend THEJURASSICWONDER went to see it, expecting it to be a lot of fun, and he ended up disappointed, saying it was "fine." Now, you all know my thoughts on the idea of Winnie the Pooh as a slasher flick, but admittingly...I was kind of sad when Jurassic told me he was disappointed. I genuinely hoped that I was wrong and that it'd be an enjoyable movie.
