WELL THIS TOOK FOR-FUCKING-EVER.The sketch for this actually wasn't supposed to come out to looking like this (sad n stuff), but then i started listening to sad music and everything changed. . - .
Though this was a giant pain in the ass to color, i also had some fun with it. But i don't think that i'm going to be painting snow anytime soon.

Is this right after he gets thrown into the crevasse? That was a sad spot! But it was the turning point for JF.....I like this! Colors just right for someone in trouble, like this, and you shaded the snow just right for the effect of his having been thrown into it....and the darkness fits the scene, too....

And actually it wasn't based off of any scene in the movie. The story behind it is that Pitch got stronger, beat up Jack, then left him to (hopefully) die. Jack's just sad cause he's physically hurting but also mostly because he's thinking that he's a horrible Guardian cause he couldn't defeat Pitch. (also snowing cause I think that's what would happen when Jack would cry)

Hm, that sounds right! He (Jack, I mean) was a bit unsure of himself in battle, anyway, and would and will have a hard time thinking of himself as a powerful hero, I think--I mean, his original goal for a long time was just having fun and messing around....

I haven't seen the movie yet, but this is a really sad picture! I like how his hair is all splayed out. I know that feeling of a drawing turning out completely differently than what you had imagined!
