Featuring my adorable little Australian Shepherd Muppet:
It sure was a while since I drew this little girl! ;n; Lately I've not been spending alot of thought into my "side-characters", mainly just my sonas and maybe a Davie here and there, but I hope I'll prehaps grow attached to my other characters aswell, 'cause it was alot of fun to draw someone else, and tasteful sparkledogs happen to be a favorite of mine c': *Dat ego tho.*
I used a ref of an aussie puppy, which I cannot find now .-. but I came up with a great way to draw:
Get a photo reference (if you want one.)
Use the photo as ref and quickly doodle up a "form-sketch" (mine was pretty detailed.)
Use the form-sketch as reference when you sketch up the real picture ;u;
It worked really well for me, and the final results didn't end up very alike the photo reference, so it's kind of a good way for me to let go of my need to always use refs xD
I FEEL SO ACCOMPLISHED, SO INDEPENDENT.
Jokes aside, had alot of fun to just draw a random picture of this little girl here, and not really bother with anatomy and shizzles C:
