Hi there, it's my first humankind 3D model that I've made in Blender (and the second at all) and I've decided to post it here. From that point, I'll start my Blender journey in Deviantart The first reason is that I think it might be interesting for someone of you to follow the progress or compare it with yours. And the second reason, that it will be an additional stimulus for me to continue 3d modeling.
Well, let's start...
  I've decided to make Homer (and all Simpson's family in the future, I hope) not only because I love those guys, but also because they look like the 3D models so it'll be easier for beginners to make them. Homer was the simplest for me, cause his body is made only from spheres and cylinders. The only problem was his pretty zigzag hair on the sides, but that was the reason why I've decided to examine Curves. So everything was for good
The most surprising thing during the process was that at the beginning I thought that the most difficult will be his t-shirt and hair will be the simplest, but everything turns out other way round   I like the result, I can see that he's not 100% alike, but maybe that's because there is no black cartoon outline arond all of his parts, I don't know.
