Description
UPDATE: Edited some shadows as suggested by .Today I was so tired after having worked on my project so much for the past few days (read: weeks), that I just HAD TO do something else for a moment.
So I started coloring Rei. And since I rarely submit stuff these days, here is something for you to enjoy. A WIP.
Does her skin look too light/too dark? My monitor is weird and I can never really tell.

Her skin color is perfect, I think. Also, the eye shadow is a perfect shade. ^^

Skin looks fine to me.
I always have to check too...because my Mac and PC make the skin look either too light or too dark... x.x
But yeah, it looks fine.

My screen makes things either too light or too dark, depending on the angle. I just never seem to get it to show things right. XD

LOL
I do the same thing! The problem is just that I can never be sure what the people with darker or lighter screens than mine see.

Her skin looks like a good color but your light source is inconsistent on her arms so the shadows don't match the body shadows.

I was kinda using the typical anime "incorrect" light source - meaning the light source which really isn't there, where the shadows are used to define shape rather than light source. Still, I used the shadows on the outsides - on both right and left, so where do you think this is inconsistent? Could you give me some more exact hints? Thanks!

It throws doing that though. The shadows on the (her left our right) arm need to be light source on the outside and shadows on the inside of the arm to make it fit with the rest of the shading. :3 Everything else actually matches the light source being on the right side of the 'age' (viewer's right that is). With the exception of the heavy shadows on the right side of the belly tough are a bit too heavy. Hope that helps!

I'll see whether I can do something about that. ^^ Thanks for the tip!

Much much! Now the shading is in line so it's not going to confuse. :3

lol Well, most of the time when I try to listen to people's advice I misunderstand them and then have to edit things a dozen times. XD So I am really getting afraid of making changes. I am glad I got it right this time, lol.
