JUPITAA PLANET POWER, MAKE UP!! DX
Sailor Jupiter was always my favorite Senshi, hands down. She was the only Inner Senshi strong enough to defeat a monster without needing Sailor Moon. (Plus we both have brown hair and like the color green.)
I tried a slightly different method for the line art here. Namely, I used the Pen tool to trace the paths. Then I added a little line weight variation with my stylus. I started this last night, so I'd say the turnaround time was pretty quick (by my standards, anyway).

Nicely done, especially for using the pen tool (I can't use it though I make attempts!). I love how bright and sharp all the colours are. A wonderful picture with lots of nostaligc value ^^

I only did the line art with the Pen tool. I colored it with my tablet.

Well, first I did a small sketch with my stylus in OpenCanvas. Then I brought the file into Photoshop, increased the resolution (and size), and did the line art with the pen tool.
Maybe I have an easier time because I used to "doodle" in Illustrator using vector paths to draw chibis, long before I got my tablet.

I always wondered why that was...why couldn't Mars just fry someone to a crisp?
Anyway, I liked Jupiter too. I really liked Neptune though, because I was most like her (except for the lesbian part). The hair (texture/length, not color), violin and cello, art, and hell, I liked turquoise (still do, really). I swear, I don't think I've found manga art quite that beautiful (or prolific, for that matter) since.
Thanks for bringing back some Sailormoon. I've missed it.

I'm trying to decide what Senshi to do next, although I'll try to do *all* the Inner Senshi eventually. And Sailor Saturn. She was awesome. She had the prettiest outfit. I was heartbroken when she got her Super Saturn power-up and she lost that awesome brooch and sleeves.

I think Venus was next; she was set up to be the (stand-in) Princess because of how powerful she was. Initially she's more powerful than any of them, but seems to get weaker as the series goes on. She was running around England or wherever before as Sailor V, so she couldn't really be a weakling.

I need to catch the original uncut version of the first few seasons, since I only ever saw the dub on Cartoon Network. XP I have the entire Sailor Moon S series on DVD, and I have the first 2 DVDs of the next series. I only saw the dubbed version of the end of that season. (And I've seen a little of the Starlights, but not much.)

Sadly, about I'll I've managed to see uncut were subtitled downloads of the entire Stars season, and Ami's First Love (for the different transformation sequence and attack). I might have eventually found the original ending (last what, 4 episodes?) to the first season, but I ran into the sequence of images and descriptions so often I'm not sure. Everything else was dubbed and heavily supplemented with reading material (most of which no longer exists; I think it went off Cartoon Network around 1998). I was absolutely obsessed at one point (it was how I was dragged into anime), but it was when DiC still had some kind of evil monopoly over video release. When I last knew, there were the movies and certain episodes on tape, with the option of subtitled or dubbed (and the subtitled ones had to be ordered). Had I unlimited amounts of money, I'd probably buy everything on DVD, or at least the first 2 seasons.

Very briefly, they released the first few seasons of Sailor Moon--uncut and subbed--on DVD, but I think the company that produced it lost their license to distribute it.
