I don't even know on where to start, but let me just say this firstly. This artwork is personal to me; like very personal to me.

These past months had been a trial for me. I had been bombarded with health complications which affects me mentally, physically and emotionally. I went through everything and I then laugh about it like they were nothing.

But then came January this year. Just a few days before Chinese New Year, I was diagnosed with glaucoma. It is juvenile though, but it just took me a while to grasp that I have an illness within me. An invisible illness which I couldn't really control other than hoping my eyedrops would work.

I don't want to become blind. I don't want to be a burden.

I'm fucking scared shitless.

All I could do is cry and then make sure to take my eyedrops so I won't turn blind. Everyday is becoming a challenge now. There are days which I am totally fine and think I can conquer this without a doubt. Then there are days which I feel very overwhelmed and keep questioning about why.

Why me?

In the end though, I stop questioning on why and accepted that whatever happens, it happened. I'm not asking for sympathy or anything like that, but really, now I am just even more determined to draw and create artworks personal to me and the likes now. Let me create art before this glaucoma could ever take my sight away from me.

With that said, I owe a huge apology to some people, especially friends who deserve more of my attention. I'm sorry that I didn't talk to you more often, and really, I wish I did. Shit happened though, and I just hope we are still friends even after all this time had passed without us talking.

Now let me get back to creating art, shall we?
