Description
This new Krystal model (by warfaremachine ) is rather well done. But it's a massively different art style when compared to Little_Dragon and Charley Fox's.Both models are fantastic, but if I am going to continue working on scenes with Krystal, I must know...
Which do you prefer?? Both are rigged for 3DS Max already and can be used in program (I am also going to start using Source Film Maker in order to REALLY use this new model to it's fullest potential.
So... which one?
Warfaremachine Krystal?
or
Charely Fox and Little Dragon Krystal?
I'm leaning more towards Warfaremachine simply because the model has more to work with, when compared to LittleDragon's, that is. This new one has textured breasts, eyes, facially rigged (for sfm), full anatomy (vagina and anus), and even rigged down there if I'm not mistaken.
I think Warfaremachine... but what about you? Which one do you want to see?

So yeah. This is an interesting comparision.
I like this new Krystal model as it is realisticlly proportioned by that looks far more badass than the other one. Thing is. From what I've seen so far though, you are less of an Krystal fan in the way that you know what she was supposed to be, and will use this model mostly for doing porn... well yeah, so that "badassity"-aspect most likely won't be all that important to you.
That model on the right I just hate, so as I will probably check by, sometimes, to see if you got any badass Krystal rendering up, I would probably prefer the one on the left. Let me explain.
The model on the right, while for some reason everyone says that it looks like the Krystal out of the game, and by that is beautiful, is fucking cringey to look at. It doesnt look like the Krystalfrom Starfox Adventures. Krystal looks like this vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/s… Here. That is something to be called beautiful. The model has too big hands, with sausage fingers, it's facial expressions are looking disguisting for some reason. The eyes are too far apart and the entirety of the model doesn't really look like it had any fur on it. It's like one weird rubber-latex-fetish suit ... or something. And the breasts of it are too big. (You will have probably noticed it too, but look at the right model's shoulders. It looks like they were plattened so that the arms could move down)
The breasts are also too big on the model on the left, but here it doesn't catch eye as much as the overall body is larger that the other one's.
Strangely enough, the new model's face even resembles the original Krystal's face more than the other one, and by that, looks fricking beautiful and sexy.
I also like that the new model shows some muscle definition (at least in the arms) as Krystal is a warrior, trained since child age in martial arts, and so having a visible biceps makes sense.
And while the new model also looks a bit goob-ish it doesn't look cringey as the other one....
I don't really know how to end this and I'm sorry for ranting about this Little Dragon model of Krystal HERE even though you are not the one responsible for it, but at least I had the chance to get that out now. Maybe you even agree with me a little...

While I agree on your points of why the left is better than the right (and both of their cons), I do want clear one thing up, and this is just me speaking.
I do focus on the badass aspect of Krystal... just not here on THIS account. This I made as a secondary to split my NSFW work from my SFW work. On my main account I do environments and action shots with Krystal, here is just NSFW.
Anyway, back to the comment. I will say I was hesitant to begin using the Little Dragon model simply because, to me at the time, kept thinking it's just too weird to look at. Even after I got my hands on the model and rigged it for 3DS Max I still didn't quite like it. The way the model was built made it damn near impossible to rig it correctly in 3DS Max. However this new model is actually built like other 3D Models and thus easy to rig (minus the fact that there are other parts of the body that must be adjusted when bones are bending). But yeah, for the sake of what is easier to work with the left for sure is the better choice.
I do appreciate the comment and you make some very valid points!

I like the wareframe model, I've seen several different ways to portray krystal. So long as it's obvious who it is, the style doesn't bother me.

It's face actually comes a little closer to the original then the other one.
And realistic proportions could help making Krystal look as badass as she was supposed to be

Definitely the right. Krystal is already perfect the way she i. I can pretty much guarantee that changing her so drastically will piss off ALOT of people since she's like the most popular anthro on the planet

Ummm... Look at this picture: vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/s… , then look at the Little Dragon model again and rethink what you said.
The model on the right doesn't look like Krystal.
It looks like a failed clone experiment, the clone being of low intellect and made out of goob.
...
Just wanted to tell..

I can see your reasoning... but for some reason my mind and the sake of my insanity goes against it...
I really like the Little Dragon model, for reals I do, but it's a love hate relationship. Love it because I can get plenty of scene ideas for it, hate it because I cannot alter the rigging any more than it is... no face animations because 3ds bones are bad, terrible bone weights for the skinning (all because the model isn't one big entity), and it's disproportionate in some areas (arms and legs mainly).
Then I have the Warfaremachine model that is more detailed and opens up countless scene and even animation possibilities because of the fact that it is facially rigged, textured, rigged lady parts, etc. BUT! I have to learn Source Film Maker in order to use it. Which also means the tedious as hell process of making environments that work in Source Engine (which is ridiculously time consuming). Either I learn Blender to export the models there and then buy a 100 dollar program just so I can use custom assets in SFM, or I use the model as is here in 3DS and try to mimic the rigging.
Basically I'm in one hell of a bind. They both have pros and cons that equally say "use me, but don't use me".
Hopefully, if and when I finish my own Krystal model, this problem won't exist (most likely will).

You cant export the face flexes to 3ds? becuase in blender its possible, im looking forward

Hmm... I'm gonna have to look into that. I don't think it would work correctly because when converted over to 3DS, the bone structure is converted into 3DS Max's bone system, which is harder to use.
But yeah, I'm going to look into this
EDIT:
Nope... unfortunately, when the model is decompiled for use in 3DS Max, the only thing that remains is the bone structure (all geometric flexes are completely lost). However, I may try getting the flexes to blender and THEN to 3ds... but I have no idea how to get them to blender in the first place xD

there is a addon for blender called SMD tools and read VTA flex,... but from there isnt is a way to export shape keys to 3dsmax

Well, I was able to get the flex keys over into 3DS Max, but it's a bit buggy. I imported the .smd file and then the vta file into blender, then exported those two together as .fbx and opened it in 3DS Max, needless to say the flexes were all mapped, but some of them ended up being buggy like the face flexes. All the other ones appear to have been imported correctly, though.
Perhaps I won't need to use SFM after all... unless I can't fix the flexes or the rig deforms incorrectly when posed
Thanks for pointing out that plug in for blender!

a small detail. the eyes iris must be a bit larger, the texture are smaller because in source you can change the default size of the iris and if someone want to make it smaller he wont have a tiled texture due all free space on texture.

U raise some good points. To be honest I shouldn't be telling u which one to use. After all whichever style of her u decide to use has no effect on how much I love Krystal or how much I'm able to enjoy her. So I guess what I'm trying to say is use whichever u wanna. It's ur account so ur allowed to do what u want with it
