LOL yes I know another girl was titled "butterflies + roses" but I honestly had no idea what else to name this xD I think its fitting though, considering that this design is sort of a second take on the previous girl? or maybe they'll be sisters *o*
Also, is it weird that I actually liked the messy sketch a lot better than the cleaned up lines? plus, as you can see, I got very lazy with the roses under/on her skirt so I left them as squiggles *o*
* The wings/wing shape was referenced (not traced/copied ofc xD) from KirasElixir , who was kind enough to give me permission to use Custom Design: Yukililu for practice.
in any case, I'm glad I finished this
it took a whole lot of layers and clip studio crashed on me twice but I'm happy <3Base by Kariosa-Adopts

It's actually quite normal to like the sketch better than the lineart! When it's in sketch form, you're seeing the potential of the picture. It's not finished, so you can read into the design more/make up things in your brain for how it'll look. There are also more details to take in, maybe even varying line weight. When you make the lineart, you're no longer seeing the potential, and sometimes it can feel like a letdown. So don't worry, it's not weird that you like the sketch better! I sometimes feel that for my own pieces.

Gonna confess that when I first saw this girl in the wip you shared I had plans to adopt her once she was released, but then I saw that you where keeping her... Woops xD
She is super gorgeous though! I can't wait to see how she looks once you finish her. Your character and outfit designs are just so elegant and pretty I honestly wish I could commission a wardrobe from you for one of my own OC's ~
