once, a mere mortal mercenary, 'Jack was sent on a covert mission to steal a radical new nano-agent from a cell of crazed techno-extremists.
much to 'Jack's dismay however, the mission went awry and he found himself doused with the agent, his biomass disassembled at an atomic level and repurposed, reducing him to a nanomechanical sludge. miraculously, 'Jack's mind survived the process, and he was now in control of the machines, and while he couldn't rebuild his body, he was able to latch onto a host organism and reconstitute himself as a nanotech 'skin', effectively stealing control of the host body, though he could only inhabit a host for 24 hours before his nanocells began to cannibalize the host .
his new state meant that he could reinforce skin, bone and muscle tissues, making the host faster and stronger, and his new 'physiology' meant he could repair damage to hosts incredibly fast - though there is a limit to what he could repair. he also discovered that he was able to reconstitute other technology and weapons that he 'digested', allowing him to manufacture weaponry on the fly. coupled with his already impressive martial arts skills and military training, Hijack now takes on jobs to help fund research into a way to be able to return to a physical form.

another character concept that'd been rattlin' around my head, I just wanted to get the costume down on 'paper', the pic doesn't really highlight his powerset though hahah he'll eventually appear in SB
