Sketchpage gift for butterfly-dragon on FA Here is my take on Arke, a fantasticly designed harpy! I knew I would draw her at the second I've seen her for the first time hehe.

I may did some mistakes, or better say, own take, on her little design details, such as head and wing markings, body and wing shape. I wanted to give her a really, hm, "birdie" look, and this how such a creature can act in different poses. I think the biggest challenge for me was her eyes and the tiny "wings" near them. The mask, which is actually her beak, makes the space between her eyes pretty big (which is normal for birds, but a little bit confusing when you draw anthropomorfic character). Also the tiny wings, I wasn't sure about their final shape, decided to make them less structured because I don't think there are actual bones in it lmao.

This skethcpage is a little different from my usual sketchpages I do for commissions. I drew each one as a individual piece and then composed it on a final canvas, that's why the composition may look not so exciting as it usually is. But there is also an advatnage — I am able to send high res of each sketch to the character owner c:

I hope you enjoy this little experiment and my pose choices I know you have arts with similar poses already, but they were challenging and interesting for me to draw, that's why I've picked them ^_^
