Fast painting portrayig Uta. She is the only daughter in her family. Iskoldav's families are known as the richest from all dragon families of Wassem. But, Uta's house has been in unstable and poor position for a while. Being in a such humiliating position, the Uta's parents make a unique decision — to unite with the Shalteg's house (who are considered inferior dragons and Iskoldavs avoid any contacts with them). Uta, as she remembers, suffers from regal rules: she does not like manners, a ban on the use of magic, restrictions on females (you can not hunt and fight). These rules are especially strict and controlled in her house. The marriage is a fact she's known since childhood, but she refuses to believe in it. Life in a magnificent palace, balls, conversations, etiquette, dresses, she hates all this. Hysteria, a broken mirror, scattered furniture and clothes. She would have given everything to turn into a dragon and fly away, but she can’t — simply because she doesn’t know how, dragon's transformation may be a dangerous experience.
But, she couldn’t even think that her hated wedding with a stranger will completely change her life. After all, her future husband will be known as the leader of the most influential street gang in the Wassem.

Быстрая зарисовка с Утой. Ута, единственная дочь в семье. Их род давно не в самом выгодном расположении, что редкость для Искольдавов (самые богатые и строгие семьи драконов в Вассэме).
Находясь в таком унизительном положении семья Уты решается на редкий и уникальный шаг — объединиться с семьей Шалтегов (которые считаются низшими драконами и связи с ними всячески избегают).
Ута сколько себя помнит страдает от вечных правил: ей не нравятся манеры, запрет на использование магии, ограничения на женщин (нельзя охотиться и сражаться). Особенно сильны эти правила в семьи Уты. Свадьба, сам факт ее неизбежности, известен ей с самого детства, однако до последнего момента она отказывалась в него верить. Жизнь в роскошном дворце, балы, разговоры, этикет, платья, все это ей ненавистно. Истерика, разбитое зеркало, раскиданные вещи. Все бы отдала, чтобы превратиться в дракона и улететь, но не может — просто не умеет, а трансформация может быть опасна. Однако, Ута и подумать не могла, что ненавистная ей свадьба с незнакомцем полностью изменит ее жизнь. Ведь тот, за кого ее отдадут вскоре станет лидером самой влиятельной уличной банды.
Наконец-то взаимоотношения Уты и Гизиля стали мне более понятными после пересмотра всех работ.
