Yup, that's right, Bulla/Bra is actually only 9 years old in this shot. That suddenly makes that scene where those two guys, who were old enough to drive, were hitting on her kind of creepy. No wonder Vegeta got pissed. Then again, who would have thought that THIS is nine years old. I can't believe Vegeta let her out dressed like that. In fact, she looked the same at the beginning of GT when she was 8. Heck, even Pan looked younger than her, and she was a year older. Maybe saiyan women mature faster, and Bulla has more saiyan blood than Pan? One thing's for sure, if she looks like this now, imagine how she's going to look when she grows up.Related content

Did you know that based on the ages of Mai and Bulma in the BoG movie they have to be 12 and 9 respectively during the beginning of Dragon Ball? Mai claimed she is 41 and Bulma 38.

The wiki isn't really reliable. Pan and Bra are about the same age. The only adaptation that portrays Pan as 14 years old in the Funanimation Dub which takes place 10 years after the end of Z instead of 5. That would make Bra 13 or 15 in GT depending on who you consider older in that source material.

My theory is that saiyans mature faster than humans, and Bulla being half-saiyan to Pan's quarter-saiyan led to her developing faster. That's the only explanation I can think of.

It's actually not as non-canon as people think. Toriyama may not have written it himself, but he gave the ok for everything they did, and even did the drawings for a lot of the characters, and ok'ed the ones he didn't.

i could be wrong,but on there is a contradiction on the differents official guides, it is stated that bra is either 1 year older or younger than pan,
The dbgt continuity follow the "1 year older" logic,which explain why bra is taller than pan.
The dbs continuity follow the "1 year younger" logic,since bra is born after pan.

9 Years: According to a interview by toei? (said interview made years after DBGT) (May be false)
10 Years: Supposedly made up by funimation But is never mentioned is their dub (just like the original jp version don't mention "5 years later" neither)
To me,Bra and pan being around 15-16(bra) and 14-15(pan) made more sense for me than them being around 9-10(bra) and 10-11(pan),it fit more their designs.
(The 9 and 10 years timeskip may also fit more krillin's old looks for me.)
