Wow! The transition of the yellow hair to purple ends got my attention. The color combination is nice and they are nicely blended with a soft and smooth transition.
And those tiny violet flowers around her ears, just lovely.

How are you able to upload traditional art in such good quality?

Well, first I scan the drawing, or if I can't scan I take a photo under bright sunlight. Then I use the Colors menu in Gimp, mostly Levels, Curves, Hue-Saturation and Color Balance.
I have been thinking of making a Gimp tutorial someday soon, if I have time
