People walk in the streets
Work in the fields
Learn in the schools.
Suddenly
What is most stable
Quakes.

Water roars
Smashes over land
Drags away homes
People
Anything
Everything
Everyone.

Snow falls.
Ice freezes.
The people shiver as
They continue their desperate search
For their life
For their love
For their hope.

How can people refuse
To give to these victims?
Dangerous elements
Can kill everyone
What makes them
Or us
Any different?

Why do we hide?
We should not be afraid.
Let us honor the human shields
That protect us all
With not letting them die.
Dangerous elements kill everyone.
